My First Flight Experience

(I wrote this so long ago and it's time to put it out there!) Hello, How are you doing? Life treating you good? If yes, then enjoy it while it lasts. If not then take a break and relax and read this post! This is a series kinda' thing, where I tell you all about my trip and the experiences. Okay, let's start. And please bear with all the brackets which are full of my viewpoints and opinions and inner voices! I was excited for two reasons: one obviously being that I was going to USA - to another country - to THE United States dammit!, and the other, being it was my first time (ever) stepping into a plane. Yeah. Maybe not a big deal to you, but to me it was! I've not traveled even in a domestic airline! And all of a sudden I'm traveling 8000 miles to USA. Our connecting flight to Dubai was at 4 am. A very early flight. I did not even sleep a wink. I probably should have. We left to the airport at around 1.00 am And reached there by 1.45 am and bid goodby...

I LOST MY PHONE

Disclaimer - I am writing about Android phones. I have no idea about iPhone, except that it also has 'Find my iPhone' app in it. So what do you do when you lose your phone? If this is your first time losing it, then you better hurry. AND it will really help if you've turned on the location and internet in your phone. Trust me. It will be worth it. If you have not, then please say goodbye to your phone. I'm sorry for your loss. By sheer luck (I don't know what else to call it) if you have turned on the location and the internet, then  - 1. Borrow your friend's phone and install the app 'Find My Device' from Play Store. 2. Sign in as a guest by entering your email address. The app will locate your phone. 3. If you have just misplaced it or dropped it nearby, you can hurry and reach your device. But, if someone has stolen it (yes, there are people who still steal mobile phones. It is 2018 and apparently this has nothing to do with people...

4 Lessons of Life

Helloooooooo, It's been long! I know, I know I say I will post frequently and I always do this. The past month has been a hard one. I have been having many ups and downs and what not. I mean, what's new huh? So, I wanted to talk about lessons..... There are certain lessons life teaches you again and again and again. It just doesn't back down until these lessons are ingrained into your bones. Life's like that, you know. Doesn't back down and does not give two shits. So here they are - 1.) Punctuality - This one has slapped me in the face - I don't know how many times! And it's still at it. Being on time is something I have been learning the hard way. I know it is such an important thing. I know what it is like to keep people waiting, because I have been there too. But, sometimes shit happens and I do get late. I try my best but..... and that is when it stings. A voice inside starts its daily dose of criticism, saying - aha! you've done ...

And That's a Wrap!

Helloooooooo, It has been so long. Soooo long. I know! I messed up my schedule and fell into a downward spiral of utter laziness. BUT, this won't happen again. I know I keep saying this in my previous posts too, but not this time. Even if it is a small post, I will update it! *Fighting* (This is a Korean way of saying "Do your best", along with clenching your fists *does the action*. It doesn't mean, to literally fight. haha.) Anyway, it's 2017! A New Year! Another blank 365 days. What will you fill it with? I still remember my "resolution" for 2016. I couldn't keep that on New Years' Eve itself. So that was that. (please excuse me as I laugh my heart out) And also it was a momentary decision made out of stupidity. Resolutions have become flaky. People just throw that word around and try their best to follow it.........for about a week. Then, it is back to the usual repetition of the same (boring) lifestyle. I watch a lot of videos -...

A MONTH

Helloooooo, It's been a month and 10 days! I am so sorry I kept you waiting... 😛 I seriously never thought that so many things could happen in a month. One month!  Just 30 days! 4 weeks!! Come on!! What can happen in a month you say? Well, let me tell you... The past month (or so) was.... I dont have a word for it (maybe I never will)  but I do have a whole lot of expressions. For example - " gahhhhhh "  or " bleghh " or " rawrrrr " or maybe all of them? Lol... It was a frustrating month. It still is. Kind of. There are so many lessons I've learned and have my eyes opened in ways I cannot imagine. (lol again) 1.) Nobody, nobody , NOBODY can love you more than your parents. (there are exceptions, of course. Some people who adopt a child or guardians who look after kids like their own. These people are all included in my point.) You should be grateful each and every day to have your mom waiting for you at home, cooking you hot m...

The Law of Nature

Charles Darwin discovered about Evolution in the 1800's. Evolution is  change itself. If you take the time to observe everything around you, you can see the changes with your own eyes. People change. Everyday. We learn something, every day. We subconsciously cultivate habits and little things from our surroundings (which is why it is said that your environment influences you or, show me your friends and I’ll tell you what you are.) Let me take my own example: I am definitely not the person I was some...5 years back. I have definitely changed! And truthfully speaking, I am glad! I have learnt so much and experienced so many things that has brought me this far. I can compare my younger self to my current self and think ‘wow, who is that dingus? Was that how I was then? Thank god for evolution’ (lol) and maybe, in the future, I may compare my current self and think that the current me is a dingus too… But that will be because I would’ve learnt even more and my experi...

Count Them

Helllloooooooo, It's been two weeks! I know! My exams are over.....Woohooooooo.....Nooooo... This is just the beginning of what's yet to come.... Anyway....I'm sorry for not posting an update.... I will get it together and plan it! I've finished a phase in my life. I'm a graduate now. I have a bachelor's degree in my hand. (well, mentally at least.....my results aren't out yet!) I should be planning for the next thing. I should be out there doing something already. But, I'm just blank..... Kind of static, right now..... So, I was watching this show in Zee Kannada called "Drama Juniors" the other day, and for those of you who watch it, you know it is one helluva show. The kids are so so talented! Aarghhh... Such wonderful acting and expressions..... In the previous episode of this show, there was one act, where the kids showed the struggle of having a physically challenged kid. It was a wonderful, heart warming act. I don't r...

Your Future.

Hellloooooo.. It's been two weeks... Sorry for not posting.... I had my exams and I was definitely relaxing....*lol* Well, since this is the exam season and the results are being declared for the 10th grade and PU students, I thought of writing about my experience and my choices.... From what I remember, the first dream I ever had (dream meaning an ambition) was to become an artist. I mean, painter. I loved painting. Then after a while, since I loved history, I wanted to become an archaeologist. Digging and finding historic stuff...sounds so cool. I remember telling my parents that I wanted to take Arts, in my PU. My mom laughed, telling 'Arts' is for failures, for people who are not intelligent enough to take science. I did not know then, that it was not my mom who thought that way but, it was what the society had filled up, in her brain. My next dream was a teacher. Ah, how I loved teaching and making people understand. That was the last, I guess....But later, i...

You are in a Trance

Hello, How are you? hehehe... Look at me, making small talk to cover up the fact that I am posting something late again! I have so many topics in my mind to post about, but it just evaporates....Maybe I should write it down somewhere so that I can remember it. Yup, lemme do that... Soo... I have a bike. A Yamaha Ray Z, which I ride to college everyday. And even when I am in a hurry I always....observe my fellow riders and drivers, because obviously I have to look out for theirs and my safety!! Also, my bike's indicator has a sound, so that...you know...the sound will help me remember I have put on the indicator and I should turn it off. Now, you know the sound of an indicator....It's loud enough to wake up someone sleeping. (lol) This incident happened a while back but it left a really deep impression on me. As always I'm rushing to college....on my bike...speeding past and over taking slow ( and sorry to say) stupid drivers/riders.... and then I hear the sound of th...

Little Things

Hellooo, I am sorry for not publishing a post yesterday. It sounds like an excuse but it's not, because I was really tired and had a very irritating cold (couldn't stop sneezing like a banshee). :D But I am alright now and so here I am! Today was a good day.... As usual......but I couldn't attend first two classes because I am the coordinator for inter-class competitions and had to sit at the stage to take down names for the competitions.... It was really fun! I was able to meet other students of my college..... People I normally see but don't speak to them. There are so many different types of people! So many beautiful, confident people! Then, I was half-asleep in the classes (bwahahaha) and we had a lecture by a very distinguished Professor, on 'Chemistry for Entrepreneurship'. It was very informative. So here I am, to tell you that I realized something today. I saw a beautiful sunset when I was on the terrace... So beautiful! Even though I couldn...

The Last Day of the First Month of 2016

Helloo! We are already into 30 days of the new year! And wow, so much has happened in these 30 days!! At the start of the year itself, I volunteered in the refreshment committee for the NAAC (National Accreditation and Assessment Council) Peer team visit. I was also there in the placement cell as a coordinator. Let me tell you, first and foremost, that it has been ingrained into me that bunking important classes is a no-no. I have never bunked any classes to go to competitions.....So this was a big thing for me. But I am so so glad I just took some courage and did it. Yes, I did miss my classes but I gained so much more experiences and made new friends! And had a wonderful time! It may seem like a small thing to you who is reading this, but to me it is such a treasure. I am not good with people. I am not the open type, where I just meet someone and start talking like a non-stop express train. BUT, I do that once I get to know a person. And if we sync, then I will literally ...

Judgemental.

Hello.... Yeahhh, I know I said I would blog whenever I can and here I am! So today I'm going to talk about judging people. Do you know when that moment when we see a person, a stranger and we just observe them.... For a while....?? ( yes, mostly when we are jobless) And we tend to make split second decisions about them by seeing their behavior?? Yes. That. We have to stop doing that. I was at a petrol bunk once. Waiting to air the tyres... And before me was a person, maybe 30 years or more?? I don't know since he was wearing a helmet. Anyway,we're waiting and he went before me... And told the person to change the air pressure.. You know there's a definite air pressure for the front and back wheels of a bike and its mostly 28 and 32... He asked him to change the pressure. There was a long line behind us and I wanted to reach home early... So I was kind of mad that he asked to change the pressure. I thought, 'wow, this man is so rude! Can't he see the lin...

PUNCTUALITY

Hello, It is such a hectic time for me right now, with all the records and assignments! But, I've been watching Robin Sharma and reading his blog, and of course Lilly aka Superwoman, getting some inspiration... So here I am! I've made a decision to myself that I will try to blog whenever I can. This post is gonna be about punctuality. Being on Time. Time and Tide waits for none. As the proverb says, it really doesn't. And I learned this the hard way. You see, I was always late for my classes last year. The first hour.. Even though I had a bike! always, always five minutes, six or ten minutes late. This went to such an extent that at one point, my teacher told me not to enter the class. Even though I was just five minutes late for an early morning class ( just five minutes I thought) , she strictly told me not to enter and I missed a whole hour. And it was the semester end. Added to this, another incident happened. I was early once and since the teacher had not ar...
